Thermal Instrument Operations: COVID-19

March 22,2020
Trevose, PA USA

The Governor of PA ordered all Non-Essential Life-Sustaining businesses closed effective 3/20/2020.

Thermal Instrument (TI) is continuing daily operations in a much scaled back fashion under the "Critical Manufacturer Clause" as posted by the U.S Dept of Homeland Security.  TI supports the following industries that are defined under the Critical Manufacturing Clause:
  • Waste Disposal
  • Energy
  • Municipal Waste-Water
  • Chemical
  • Pharmaceutical
However, we are still ordered to take all necessary steps to "Social Distance" in order to not help the spread of this disease. That being said, effective today, Thermal Instrument has reduced staffing on-site at our facility. We will have a very limited amount of employees on-site at the facility to accept deliveries, calibrate flow meters, and make shipments.

We have implemented remote work arrangements for front line sales and administration contacts. We will continue to keep a skeleton staff at the facility during normal business hours as long as permitted by state of PA. This situation is fluid and could change at any moment. We are doing our best to do what we can, with the limited resources available to us during these times.

We ask that questions be sent via email to the employees here at Thermal that you normally would have contacted, as everyone has access to their email, either on-site or remotely. We ask for your patience as we work thru this situation.

Please stay safe during these difficult times.

Regards,
The Staff at Thermal Instrument Company
